Our client, a National Public Entity, is on the lookout for a dynamic Property Portfolio Specialist to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. This exciting opportunity is based in the vibrant heart of Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
Position Purpose: Accountable and responsible for the Management and Coordination of the organization's fixed owned and leased property.
Minimum Requirements & Key Competency:
- Education: Recognized Degree/Diploma in Real Estate, Property Management/Law, Public Administration, or equivalent.
- Registration: Registration with the Estate Agency Affairs Board will be advantageous.
- Experience: Nine (9) years of property management experience within a national organization, with at least four (4) years at the Management level.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of property portfolio management discipline and its implementation within a national environment.
- Regulatory Framework: Working knowledge of PFMA regulatory framework, National Treasury Regulations, Legal Aid Act, and other relevant statutes.
- Governance Code: Working knowledge of King III code of Corporate Governance.
- Technology Proficiency: Functional ability in the utilization of electronic systems and technologies.
- Collaboration: Able to create "functional integration" between Legal Aid SA operational needs and its users.
- Project Management: Able to partner with Management to support the achievement of strategic objectives through effective facilities provisions.
- National Collaboration: Effective working relationship with management and other business units nationally.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and resource allocation skills.
- Business Acumen: Business acumen and the ability to deal with demanding compliance issues and meet challenging deadlines, while managing projects optimally.
- Financial Skills: Financial and administrative skills to ensure value-add deliverables.
- Relationship Building: Experience that would assist in driving a service excellence mindset and building relationships nationally.
